Collective Efficacy and Crime in Rural Wyoming Communities with Rapid Natural Resource Related Development

This study examines communities with varying rates of economic growth, and surveys resident perceptions of social cohesion and trust, informal social control, and perceptions of crime. We test how rate of growth impacts collective efficacy and people’s perceptions of community cohesion and crime.
