URL: http://justice.uaa.alaska.edu/forum/27/3fall2010/a_sro.html

Description

Observational data suggest that there is wide inter- and intra-departmental variation in the emphasis placed on each of these roles depending upon the type of school to which a School Resource Officer (SRO) is assigned (i.e., a middle school vs. a high school), the personality and particular orientation of an SRO, and the level of crime and disorder in a school.
