Project 2001 began by analyzing the benefits often associated with a complete reorganization of the structure and funding of the trial courts and concluded that there are tangible ways to improve the trial courts’ success without vi dismantling and rebuilding the judicial system. Through its analysis, the Project committee found that successful trial courts share common characteristics, regardless of their jurisdiction or configuration.
