Ohio Juvenile Justice Needs Assessment — Executive Summary

At the direction of Governor Bob Taft and Lieutenant Governor Maureen O'Connor, the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) designed and conducted a comprehensive needs assessment of the Ohio juvenile justice system. A research model was designed to determine the level of existing needs and services, establish desired levels of services, then assess and prioritize the gaps between the two.
