The statewide cost study of Oregon’s adult drug courts was accomplished in a collaboration between NPC Research, the Criminal Justice Commission and the Department of Corrections. The purposes of this statewide evaluation were to answer two critical drug court policy questions: a. Are adult drug courts cost-beneficial? b. What are best practices for Oregon’s drug courts?
