Tennessee Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) Grants Statistics Summary

FVPSA grants provide immediate shelter and supportive services to victims of family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence for adults and youth, as well as their dependents. All shelter programs must provide the following nine core components: safe confidential shelter; 24 hour crisis hotline; counseling; advocacy; transportation; community education; referral; follow-up; and specialized services to children.
