Description

The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Program is a national network of 61 federal, state, and local task forces with the goal of addressing the continuing problem of online distribution of child pornography and online solicitation of minors. The OAG's Cybercrimes Unit supervises the ICAC Task Force for the Southern Region of Texas. The OAG received supplemental grant funding for expansion of existing ICAC Task Force activities and for OAG prosecutors and investigators to provide increased support to local law enforcement agencies to combat these problems.
