Crime Victim Services Division Annual Report
Group: Office of the Attorney General
The Crime Victims’ Compensation (CVC) Program is administered by the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) and is dedicated to providing victims of violent crime financial assistance for certain crime related expenses. State law establishes that the victims of crime fund is the payer of last resort and requires the OAG to establish whether other collateral sources are available to a victim or claimant, such as health insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, auto insurance or workers’ compensation insurance coverage.
