Juvenile Accountability Block Grant

The State of Iowa receives a federal block grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) to develop programs that promote greater accountability in the juvenile justice system. The goals of the program are to reduce juvenile delinquency, improve the juvenile justice system, and increase accountability for juvenile offenders. The allocations must be spent in one or more of 17 program purpose areas. There is approximately $500,000 available in Federal FY2009 (October 2008 – September 2009), which will fund the following projects:
- Sectors (Govt, Non-Profit, etc)
- Location in resource
- Internet Available?
- Has population data?
