JJDP Act Formula Grants
Group: Iowa Division of Criminal & Juvenile Justice Planning
The State of Iowa receives approximately $600,000 each year in federal Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act formula grant funds. In addition to the Juvenile Justice Youth Development Allocation, this funding stream also supports statewide efforts addressing Aftercare, Gender Specific Community Initiative, Disproportionate Minority Confinement (DMC) Diversion, and Mental Health issues in detention shelter.
