Joint Juvenile Justice Strategic Plan 2013-2016
Group: Connecticut Judicial Branch
This plan is the second between the Judicial Branch and the Department of Children and Families. Starting with the original joint strategic plan published in 2006, the agencies have been working in formal partnership with their sister agencies, service providers, families, advocates, and other stakeholders to guide the vision and mission of the juvenile justice system in Connecticut. While the vision, mission and guiding principles remain the same, the goals have been refined to reflect the progress that has been made over the last decade, and the work still to be done to make Connecticut’s juvenile justice system as effective as possible for children and their families and all the citizens of this state.
