Self Represented Litigants Strategic Plan
Group: Utah State Courts
Since its first meeting in June, 2005, the Committee has been reviewing services provided to self-represented parties in Utah and programs provided in other states. In early 2006, the Committee conducted an empirical study of the experience of selfrepresented parties in sixteen limited and general jurisdiction trial courts. Based on that study and the Committee’s previous investigations, the Committee has developed this strategic plan for investigating, developing and providing resources for self-represented parties.
